I am Tom Johns ALCM.
I help people discover the joy of playing bass guitar. Whether you're a complete beginner or returning to music after years away - let's find the songs that make you excited to pick up your bass.
I have 25+ years experience of playing and performing, including 10,000+ hours of full time teaching.
I was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, and my love for music led me to Bromley, England where I taught from 2015-2024.
I moved to Orlando in 2024 with my wife and two young kids.

As a composer, I have had my pieces played on UK National Television (BBC Television)
I have achieved the highest grade (grade 8) in the UK's musical examination system in multiple styles. I have achieved this in Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar and Classical Guitar
Professional Performance Diploma (ALCM) from the prestigious London College of Music.
100% success rate in graded performance exams (grade 1 to grade 8)
I have played more live gigs as a performer on bass or guitar than I can remember!
